PEOPLE! this was the break out of Rock Country. In the 1980s these guys were knocking down ALL the standards, while setting new ones with every "video." (That's how you said it then, remember MTV had just taken off, videos were all the rage, but deff not country western.) You can't compare them to George Jones, Porter Wagner, Johnny Cash or any of the Old Guard. Sawyer Brown were the New Thang! When Mark Miller started jumping round and round in those parachute pants everybody went WHOA!
