At 0:21 that's the suit you get at the end to fight the Omega Metroid, the Japanese Metroid Fusion had a couple of extra modes. Why weren't they included in the U.S. Version I dunno.

Pros of both Japanese and American versions:
US: Shows some awsome action pack shooting of the X infested monsters and shows Sa-X
Japanese: Actually shows the X overtaking the hero if the metroid series and gives us a depiction of how deadly the X really is
Conclusion: Both versions are great. If there could have been a long version using both that would have been a killer add! Both were simply brilliant in their own right
