its a true story as well, im from new zealand and i cant believe it happened in Christchurch. the friendship was so strong and scary. at the end, i was so shocked and scared, the mother was crawling away screaming, how disturbing.

this was my favourite movie as a teenage girl. i still think it's one of the few movies out there that accurately shows the imagination and depression of teenage girls. sad that it has to be about murderers. sad, i mean, that we can't see more great films about teenage girls in general. but i still love this film. it's disturbing, but that's the point.

I just bought this on blu-ray a couple of days ago and it was AMAZING! I can't believe how good Kate Winslet and Melanie Lynskey are! Incredible!

I'm 14, and I watched this film with my 10 year old sister and we had no idea what was going on. It was really horrible at the end where they killed Pauline's mother. Made me want to throw up.

It's bizarre seeing the town you live in in a movie haha not that it really looks like that anymore.. but the hills where they were spinning around are the same :) |
