@skadoodlez I do slalom and canoe polo and i just dealt with it for a couple of weeks then i started getting callus just go with it and have the freedom water through your fingers and not having to have them stuck in stuffy gloves

@skadoodlez I tried tape myself, but found it would always rub off... maybe some athlete tape like @paddleme2 said may help, but I just purchased some $20 paddling gloves and absolutely love them for longer paddles.  No more blisters, but I also feel like I get a nicer grip on the paddle (although that last part could just be all in my head).

I use athlete clothe tape on my thumbs and index finger to prevent blisters.
