Question, if I were to use a pedal with this amp, (for a different tone), could you roll back the beast but have the gate block out any excess noise from the pedal? For example a Boss HM-2 maxed out.

@MrConassassin Honestly it's apples an oranges. the 6505s are more mid and treble oriented while Marshalls have more of a thick sound. In terms of power or distortion Electric Amps kill everything on the market.

i'm pretty sure his sustainer is helping his notes ring out more than the amp but still awesome head!

@1976Stratomaster line 6 spider 3 solid state sounds better than marshalls, they do blow
