@dragnslyr648 Oh yeah as long as the card is decent enough (1GB isn't enough information) but if it's like an 8600GTS or better sure. I ran CoD4 maxed out on a 4800 Dual Core and an 8600GTS 256MB DDR3 so anything better would be nice. I would say look for a 9600GT or 4670. Something in that range either 512 or 1GB would run it maxed very well.

@nerfy7 You can't upgrade the video card on your laptop so basically no there is nothing you can do to really speed up modern games.

Hey guess I have an Inspiron 1750 from Dell and i have an integrated graphics card. I got it in August of '09 Not sure which integrated card is in there but is there anyway to make that better like to play cod 4 or waw on the computer. Can someone tell me?

I have an hd 3200 on a 780g board in my laptop. i can run cod4 at my native resolution 1366x768 on Lowest at about 25-40 fps. but i have 4 gigs of ram

Thanks, I'll look into the 4770 and see if they have a low profile model. This rig is set up as an htpc, and is in smaller htpc case. Im also considering the 4550, but im not sure if it will handle the newer games.

Nice the M3A78-EM is basically the same board. Yes FC2 needs more power and even this didn't really "play" CoD4. It was on the lowest of low settings and resolution and even then it got very choppy at times. Sometimes unplayable. You need to get a decent video card if you want to play modern games no way around that. Ati Radeon HD 4770 or something like that is great if you're on a budget but still want some decent power to play all the modern games.

NIce, Ive got an asus M3A78-EM (780G) w/ AMD Athlon II X2 250 3ghz. But I cant seem to play Far Cry 2 w/ it. It runs so slow...why? Does FC2 need more power than COD4?
