If there was a thing called academic bravery or heroism - this guys would be the living definition

One thing I would point out is that Meirsheimer and Walt in their thesis do make passing reference to the Jewish intellectual roots of neo-conservatism, which you might argue forms the real nexus between the lobby and U.S foreign policy.

@kadanwallaSBaha their saying it because in alot of cases, whats good for one is good for both. (and even good for palestinians and arabs to) That said, of course you care more about your own country's interests more. Unfortunately, a solution to the Israil problem must be good for the US, Israil and Palestinians or it wont happen.

@perussell66 - You read what Zahir admitted to... as long as they have an argument against Israel, there is a better chance for Arab Unity.. Common enemy .... Again, they pulled out in 2005; what happened? You know what happened.
WingThaiJ (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@perussell66 You know why, don't you? They were offered everything they could possibly want and Arafat turned it down. Again, PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein admitted in a March 31, 1977 interview with a Dutch newspaper Trouw admitted that the Palestinian people do not exist. He states, "The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity." The Qur'an 17:104 - states the land belongs to the Jewish people
