When the trombone slides up as they go back to the verse, it's so perfect the hair on the back of my neck prickles. Maybe I should get out more but seriously, they were, maybe still are, or will be again- a truly brilliand band!

Excellent choice in bands, tubes, wild cherry, blind faith.I Love the tubes !! theyve got to be be one of my all time fave, always go back to, make me smile and sing along bands. how about putting up some of the lesser known ones from the CBP album..like boy crazy, mr hate, amnesia :-)

I had the priviledge of hearing them live at the Hammersmith Odeon. I was impressed with how technically proficient they were and how they really rammed their anti-materialistic message home. Thus it is no wonder that what pontello3 says is true. The last thing the pop music, multimedia pocket money robbing conspiracy wants is for kids to start being less gullible and materialistic!

Last time I heard this was when it was freshly released on KSAN FM, when I was a kid in high school. I just randomly remembered it now and this is the first time listening since 1975 or 76 or something... Thanks for posting! |
