As an American I am truly greatful for the VALOUR of the brave Men, Women and Children that fought so desperately for their homeland and proved to the world that the Invincible Germen Army could be beaten and the Russians were the catalyst for what was to come as a war to end all wars. I hold nothing but RESPECT and ADMIRATION to the russian soldiers who did what was thought couldn't be done.

My history book is incorrect. I always thought that the battle of Stalingrad was 1942 - 43. You learn something new every day!
