i know it's just acting but that it something that happens to many kids. my dad left my family when i was 3, he used to call me all the time even tho my mom hated him for leaving (he was abusive). on my 12th birthday he sent me a letter saying he didn't want to talk to me anymore. he told me to stop asking for phone calls or a locket with a picture of him that had asked for since i was 8. it broke my heart, it filled me with hatred and to this day i find it hard to trust anyone. i hate you, dad.
