i started playing guitar and im a junior in school. at first i did it cuz i was good at guitar hero but then i heard Stevie....and i realized that this is what i want to do for the rest of my life. I now have a very good chance at making it into Berklee School Of Music, a prestigious music school that my other inspiration John Mayer attended. There are many people who feel that this song is purely about Stevie's substance problems that he had until about 3 and 1/2 years before heb died tragically. Being ac Stevie Ray Vaughan for many years i honestly felt that it was more about living every day, maybe every minute, like it's your last, the way you choose to live it, no matter what anyone else thinks. It wasn't long after "The Sky Is Crying" was released that I made the decision that this had to be played at my funeral. SRV, thanks!
