I thought it was a really good movie. I mean, yes it had a lot of explicit things little kids shouldn't be seeing, but that's why it's rated R. & they gotta tell it how it is.

only joan jett went on a successful solo career? what about lita ford? she formed a decent band, and sandy west too. cherie stared in a couple of movies, one with jodie foster too. joan jett might be the most famous out of these, DOESN'T mean that the others didn't have successful careers. get your facts right.

@cutthroat923 have you seen it yet? believe me, she does not ruin it. she MAKES the movie. she is absolutely terrific and NAILS Joan Jett.
you really should see some of her other movies. I'm sure you've only seen Twilight. she is actually a fantastic actress besides the Twi films. she's playing below her grade level in them. she plays the brooding teenager perfectly, and it's a shitty character to begin with.
believe me, she will be Oscar nominated, if not an Oscar winner in the future. fact.

9/10. Kristen did a fantastic job portraying Joan, but I think Dakota wasn't right for Cherie's 'tough sex machine' attitude back then. still, this movie is great. one of my favorites. |
