Slandering Lanza just because someone disagrees with you is beyond childish. But what else would someone expect from a person who watches TMZ?

@spotlessmcpartland This guy is way better than Lanza - plus it looks like he'd be good at cutting down trees as a lumberjack. All I know is that I heard that the reason Lanza can even sing at all is that his throat got a workout from his dad. Just a rumor but I heard it on TMZ

No, Mario Lanza did not sing YTS like this; he sang it a thousand times better.
Patinkin is a good singer but he just doesn't have the chops to be compared with great singers - and Lanza was one of the greatest.

The music and lyrics, by Rodgers and Hammerstein, are exquisite; Mandy sings with passion, drama and beauty. I first heard his rendition of this song 25 years ago and it has lived with me ever since. This is what dreams are made of.....

Mandy Patinkin is amazing. Absolutely amazing. It doesn't matter what he does - Criminal minds, Chicago Hope or just doing what he does best - singing. I love this man.
