@Smokomy11 i have a Marshall, and it was a mistake especially if you play metal. The dirty channels all sound the same, and the clean is flat. I played this amp at a guitar shop and liked it a lot better, i definitely recommend this amp over any marshall.

Man, the recto gets such mixed reviews to both extremes, that I just wish they sold Mesas in my country so I can get it over with and try one!

Hey,
I am looking to pick up a Mesa Rectifier for my band. Which is a pop-punk/alt band (blink 182/30 seconds to mars). I'm looking into either the dual rec or triple...I can't find any in my area to test out so im tryin to get opinions.
For my style of music, would the dual do justice? I need a lot of distortion that sounds thick and full. I know the trip can do it, but I can find duals a little cheaper on ebay...so if a dual will do the job for me...id get that...

The channel 3 "Modern" sounds just like metallica's guitar sound on master of puppets... |
