@MrPie455 Because when he crafts a song, it isn't finished until he says it is. When the man has something to say with his guitar, nothing else happens until he finishes saying it. When he finishes a phrase, those of us who get it, know it's finished. Unfortunately not everybody gets it, they want 2 verses, and a 10 second riff, and a 3rd verse. Our man don't play that game.

As I've gotten older, I've gotten into classical music., but PF, et.al. still are my first loves. I wonder...200 yrs from now, will they still be regarded with awe? I think so.

To TheUltimateCannel. You are wise beyond your years. You are listening to where people worked to produce music and sensible lyrics not the noise they put out now. Pink Floyd along with other groups both American, Canadian and British all produced great music from the early 60s on. Its out there for us all to enjoy!
