@vdoo84 From what I hear, Animal was at least partially inspired by Keith Moon. I could be dead wrong, but that's what I heard.

Throughout Frank Zappa's film, the orchestra sat behind barbed wire in the concentration camp and played the entire score of 200 Motels. The funniest moment occurred when Keith Moon, haphazardly dressed in a nun's habit, ducked and dove through the orchestra rows while Ringo Starr, dressed as Frank Zappa in his beard and wig, chased him. I thought it hilarious and could not stop laughing. (Freak Out! My Life with Frank Zappa by Pauline Butcher)

The Who -an awesome band, Keith was an extra special drummer who died too young
