@TheTweetbirdie makes sense, the song was written in part as a tribute to a young filmmaker that Jackson had befriended who had passed away from cancer. when the soul of a song is so true it transcends boundaries and we see the truth of it

many people dont realize this, the reason we like movies, is because of the feelings it gives us. when you love something, you get a happy feeling, the same feeling you get when you reach the end of the LOTR series and this song is played. that is why i love this movie.

The "why do the white gulls call" bit made me cry, I lost my brother and he really meant everything to me I wasn't sure of going on with life. But my boyfriend just gave me the will to live on. I known him since ober seven years and we're even thinking of marriage. I still think it's hard to live on without him. RIP Chris.
