Steve Jordan's groove @ 21 years old...wow.
Yeah he was "a mini Steve Gadd" with the over all feel of everything but his groove is his own.

For me, it was the year, the best. There was a multitude of artists : Michael Brekers, Richard Tee, Mike Mainierin Steve Gadd, Jaco Pastorius, Randy Crawford etc...
I think that it was The One.
