@LordWhorfinX2 Did you know most of the whale meat never gets eaten? The rate of consumption is declining, more and more meat is simply being thrown away - this is unecessary, wasteful and the lamest excuse to go out and kill... Many species are now threatened thanks to pressure from human actions and the rate of loss is growing aswell...Species conversation is as broad as the personalities of people, so many different groups specialise in different areas, from fish to lions!

@LordWhorfinX2 Lmao....ur a moron...Did you ever study Biology 1.1? The earth has biodiversity to suppport the various eco systems - so lemme put this easy for you. If we kill Shamu, his buddies, the over species..or just one type, it DOES affect the ecosystem....Example: If we lose a species of insect that pollinates, flowers are affected = one less food type/plant for the other animals. The rate of species decline gradually affects humans too, for instance less medicinal options

@ariodsenuke Alot of people don't like knowing or seeing any animal die...my family for one....Most whale meat never gets eaten, at least in my house we finish our meal and support local groceries and grow our own veggies/herbs in a tiny yard....I am against animal cruelty, but try to find alternatives than supporting the big companies who are known for slaughtering animals any easy way....The whaling to me is also terrible because of species becoming threatened or worse...

By your logic I can add that the Indiand and Chinese along with other fast growing nations should cull their populations on account of the rapid increase in unsanitary/contamination of water supplies like the Yellow River and Ganges..ever looked into water supplies before? Oh what about the cloud of smog across the east scientists are studying that travels along the east? Nothing to do with their populations...nope...lol

FACT: Commercial whaling was banned and made illegal in 1986.
FACT: Today, now that they're officially not allowed to kill Whales for food, the japanese kill 1000 per year for "scientific purposes".
FACT: Before 1986, when they were killing 2000 a year for food, the japanese killed 200 per year for "scientific purposes" and called it sufficient.
FACT: They took their SAME whale-hunting ships out to sea as before 1986, but now they have the word "Research" painted on the sides!
