Arabs have indulged in slave trade ever since Islam swept into Northern Africa. The Arabs were the suppliers of slave trade to the Europeans settlers in the New World.
The Arabs hold Africans in contempt and call them raisin heads even now. And of course, Islam sanctions slavery.
Too bad the blacks who convert to Islam as a rebellion against Christianity don't know about this.

How can muslims deny slavery exists, when it is quite obvious. For a muslim man to have multiple wives, or concubines, it is simply not sustainable to draw these concubines from their own communities, thus is the reason why they only take women and children as slaves, and execute the their menfolk.
