this is cool. I actually stuff mine with ham or sliced turkey and cream cheese. But I only make a slit on the side and scrape out the seeds with a spoon so that the stem can stay on. Also, I always leave one with the seeds in it and play "lottery" with whoever comes over to eat em!!! Thanks for this video!!!

Yes, that is correct. All the hot is in the white center. The pepper flavor is on the outside! Dave

Are they effectively like bell peppers once they've been scooped out, in the sense that they have no heat at all? Or do they keep a little heat, just at a tolerable level?

They are only hot if you leave any white on the inside. Remove all the white on the inside and you remove all the hot. THanks, DAve
