If this didn't win a Grammy, it should have. The bass player, *alone*, should have! This is priceless, *beautiful*, 60s, Baby Boomer music...

I totally agree. I loved the music of the '60's and to this day I've found nothing better.

Everytime I listen to this song, I feel like jumping into a Time Machine and speed warping back to '66! To Hell with the present, I want the simplicity of the past. That's when life was a blast. It's when Life was cool, not like today: dieingly cruel. I guess I'm just a sentimental fool. Vaya Con Dios.

Well, this brings a smile :)
Love this old song and I think it's aged well :)
Thanks, Harry (slider41) for sharing...you got good taste in music :)

Wolfsky9 and fvfs4ever, it's also reminicent of the Arbors "I Can't Quit Her". Oddly, The Arbors "Symphony For Susan" was arranged by sometime Four Seasons member and longtime arranger Charles Calello.

Wasn't 1966 the year Batman came out? Thats how I got my name after Miss Tallulah Bankhead who played the Black Widow on the "Batman" series.

I was almost ready for the army and an all exspense paid trip to Vietnam when this song came out...and yes, I was definitely "Mr. Dieingly Sad"
