I think the RCA is a more refined sound and the GE is more touch sensitive and open.

Thank you for this video!!! I've been trying to decide between 2 similar tubes to the ones you demo here, and I'm still not quite sure. The RCA has a little extra complexity in its sound, but is also brighter. The GE sounds a little more flat, but it's warmer. Since the amp requires 4 6L6's I may just mix these 2, but I'm still can't decide if I want to put in a Tung Sol, because they're supposed to be some of the fatter sounding 6L6's out there, and that's what I'm looking for.
