One cool thing is that there are select Pho places in America - actually not to hard to find - that recreate the Vietnamese version almost 100% authentically.

The only reason why McDonalds is doing well is because 95% of Americans wouldn't know good food if it jumped on their bulging bellies while they were on the sofa watching tv.

yeah i mean these street vendors do this for a living, making pho all day as opposed to a big kitchen which will recreate that
also love the bamboo chopsticks... pho truly a comfort food

Luckily, I don't need to travel to Vietnam to enjoy a bowl of Pho. Lowell, MA must have like 20 restaurants that serve this delicious soup :D

@LARSI0N Aaah, but I don't have to travel. I am surrounded by Pho in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. All I have to do is get out and drive to find some of that good stuff. :)

I feel sorry for the Rednecks in the American South who are so ignorant to the point where they dont even want to try any new food !!!
As soon as they eat anything other then burgers and fries they go " EWWWW "
THEY HAVE JUST MISSED A PIECE OF HEAVEN, and they dont even know it !
P.S. My wife and I are going out for PHO for our anniversary |
