Bush had a 5.6 trillion deficit in 8 years that was 700 billion per year. Obama has spent 3 trillion in 15 months that would be about 21 trillion in 8 years which it will be more if he gets a second term.

What has Obama spread with his scalpel? I want to use the hatchet in the voting booth to cut the bull out of this failing power-hungry reckless, careless, unscrupulous group that represents us in Congress & the Executive Branch to send a message "Stop Government Intrusion and Corruption." In 06 and 08 the republicans got the hatchet from American voters, this time the majority party will get it. It's good to do because it keeps the lobbyists and special interests groups from corrupting our reps.

They could drop the Capital Gains Tax 2% and give everybody a check from the stimulus of about $500 bucks and the psychological effect would "prime the pump" as Keynesian philosophy fails. They just keep pushing for Socialized Health Care and abandon the economy. What gives? Why are democrats ignoring the people of America? It seems to me (and the republicans have been doing this to us too), the representatives in Washington including the chief ex. have got it coming to them in 2010 & 2012.

I just found out that the deficit, AKA the budget, does not include gov take overs. So for example, the few trillion in debt dumped on the taxers payers from freddie & fanny, and GM, is NOT counted in the budget deficit. OBAMA AND DEMS ARE COOKING THE BOOKS..among other things.
