@DD826 He did get attacked during all this after the Insurgents regrouped. Don't remember what he told me about how he got off. I'll have to ask him the next time I see him.

I have oftened wondered, who covers the sniper team. He stated that they were engageing the enemy for over an hour. Wouldn't the insurgents realize what was happening and make moves to take out the sniper team on the gas tank?

Actually, his name is Rob Furlong btw, it's not a Canadian version of a Barrett/m82-95, etc. Rob used a McMillan Tac-50, which is awesome he hit it at 2430 meters, in operation Anaconda. Do the math and convert 2430 meters into miles :)
