I'm 16 and football was once my life. I had a partial meniscectomy 10 weeks ago and i'm still definitely not 100%. There is still pain inside my knee at times, for instance if i was to lay on my right side with my left knee up and bend my left knee (i had part of the medial meniscus taken out) it hurts and feels like theres a harsh transition going on inside my knee. Day to day activities don't cause pain it's just running which i desperately want to get back into. Any help appreciated.

@seansaccount101 It could be your medial collateral ligament or just a tear in your cartilage. I would request an MRI. It's the only way to be sure.

P.S I'm also looking at a Mueller Hg80 hinged knee brace for future use when I'm back up and running. It's a quality product and retails for about $50. Just an fyi for my fellow knee sufferers.

Interesting. I recently destroyed all 4 ligaments in a dislocation from a motorcycle accident. I had my mcl and lcl replaced 3 months ago. I've just started walking again with a full leg brace. I'm scheduled to have my acl and pcl replaced in 5 weeks. I can't wait to get it done! My surgeon thinks at the very least I'll be able to go running again! :-)
