@ByronRaver That's exactly what happened. He knew precisely what he was doing the entire time..rehearsing a "mimed" show perfectly and getting in front of the camera live and just standing there! Too much fun!

@nofrils I agree. Yes, he had some psych issues (perhaps Aspergers, SPD, ADD or something) but he was not the complete nutcase people made him out to be. He was just an eccentric who wanted out of the world. A lot of "Crazy Syd" stories are just that....STORIES! We'll probably never get the whole truth. I'll just refer to what happend to him as "a breakdown" rather than "lost his mind" or "went crazy".

@oldsoulzeppelingirl I think that even in his sate of mind during that recording session he still had a very good sense of humor and was being sarcastic, but who really knows for sure.
