In life your decisions are your own, your life is your own, your happiness is your own and can only be brought upon by spending time and looking at what matters. Sometimes what you want so bad won't be able to give you happiness, believe me, happiness is the only thing worth living for. Having heard both of the popular versions of this song, I honestly feel that JC made it his own. He injects a heavy shot of grief, self loathing, and obvious pain of more than kind. This is one of my all time favourite songs ever, it touches something very deep in me and echoes so much of my experience of this thing we call life.
