I HATED THIS SHOW! Silly and dumb. Nothing against Sally Fields, kind of like her anyway. Remember the 1968-1969 Mad magazine parody of this idiotic show showing the Flying Nun carrying an hydrogen bomb and saying; "defeat atheistic Soviet Russia: way to Moscow!" HA HA Another, many years later, in 1983, an ediitorial cartoon in the newspapers, can't remember which one, showing the Flying Nun from the target of a Soviet jet fighter about to be shot down! Remember the Korean jet shot down in 1983

Sister Bertrille would still be flying, but in 1977 or so she met Junior Justice, son of the sheriff of Texarkana. She left the order to marry Junior, but then got cold feet and left him at the altar. She ended up meeting a bootlegger named Bandit and helped him transport Coors beer to GA and later on bring Charlotte the elephant from Miami, FL to Austin, TX. Wow, has she had a crazy life or what?
