I remember this game so well, it's probably the best I've seen a player play a game EVER. He should've been carried of the field like a king, never seen anything as brilliant like that performance against Brazil...

@theazism nonsense, he only played one game, was the man of the match, but it wasnt enough.

@200dogz and he was the FIFA man of the match in the 3rd game despite a 0-2 loss. The most complete soccer player of all time.

@theazism
Nope he was injured and missed the first two games, then got rushed back in the third despite still injured / not fit for game.

i was supporting brazil at that time and was extremely frustrated by the way zidane single handedly mastered the mid field..great player zidane..!

@andimk7910 Couldnt be more right, I remember the hype that surrounded that Brazilian team especially Ronaldinho, who was to be the most exciting prospect in the whole Competition, Zidane was just immense showing how much of a leader and a character he was in the competition, there will never be a player to have as good a touch of the ball as he had

Soccer haters say the players tap dance around the ball.
Not true with Zidane. He WALTZED with it. |
