I think this was filmed using scenery from the west coast of the South island of New Zealand-Punakaki rocks ( spelling may be wrong)

Time for a new series of dinosaurs. It's 10 years since the first batch were produced. More dinos, more episodes, longer episodes, better CGI, better stories, in glorious HD and more evolution sequences! Brilliant!

@Velox415 All documentaries like to make things sound simple.
People still refer to pterosaurs as pterodactyls... which are a species of pterosaur in their own right.
