@minglestop not really, for that you can be good just by taking off the fuse. you dont need to unplug your negative wire.

Noted, so if I need to remove an amp, the steps are this: Disconnect Negative Terminal, Remove Fuse from holder - remove Amp from Power wire - Install New Amp(s) - Install Fuse in Holder - Connect Negative Terminal.

because if by any chance the power cable touches any metal area anywhere in your car it can cause a short and damage things or you can get really shocked lol |
