Splash Mountain Ride Disneyland - Final Drop Seen From 2 Angles

This is the final drop of Splash Mountain at Disneyland Park in Anaheim California. This video shows two synchronized shots side by side. One POV looking straight ahead and a second angle looking back to see not only the facial expressions the scared little kid, but also the water as it soaks the passengers. This is probably the most popular ride in Critter Country if not the most loved ride in all of Disneyland...by my wife. Riding Splash Mtn is one of the best ways to cool down and avoid a hot flash in the park. If you don't like wet clothes or water on your face then forget it...this ride is not for you because YOU WILL GET WET. And wearing one of those ponchos? That's cheating. Splash Mountian ride in Disneyland opened on July 17th, 1989. Each log vehicle has a capacity to hold 7 passengers. The ride length is approx. 2640 ft. and the final drop is at a 47 degree angle! As you are taken through the approximately 8 minute ride, you are surrounded with scenes of "The Adventures of Br'er Rabbit" story and will soon have the songs of Laughing Place and Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah, sung by nearly all of the 105 audio-animatronic creatures along the way, stuck in your head for at least the next two hours.
