I love Baltimore in small doses, but I could NOT live there. Traffic is crazy, make it worse, 95% of the roads are "One Way". So say you wanna make a left turn, but you gotta go 2 blocks before you're able to. Just be prepared to do a lot of circling in Baltimore. And parking? Forget it! If it's after 6pm or the weekend, parking is crap! And on a Raven's home game day...295/95 are ridiculous! If you can find good parking, you just may be able to catch the last play of the game! MTA = GOD

Grew up in Lutherville, a suburb of Baltimore. Listen, Baltimore has some very nice and safe neighborhoods where crimes very rarely happen (Roland Park, Homeland, Guilford, Fells Point, most of Canton and theres more). The Inner Harbor is a great place and obviously safe. As far as I know, West and South Baltimore are dangerous but they are poverty-stricken areas. As for the people, there are assholes but there are nice people as well, like anyother city. I think its a great city.

Baltimore can't be worst than New York City in anyway, I lived there for 8 years and nothing bad happened to me. I'm going to live in Baltimore next month since I got hired by the SSA headquarters in Woodlawn. I don't look for trouble, and I don't think trouble will look for me. |
