The Mesa get great rock tones aswell... use the little mode switch :) Hey I hear some Lynchness in there! Nice playing!

@metallica66670 no, I own it (great amp!) and this is more for rock. For metal choose a Mesa Dual Rectifier, it's better for the sound you want.

@joeb0 Right on!

@codismyBxTCH this and a 1960, both used, will be less than 1500

Also, words about bodily functions shouldn't be associated with music.Also, it's not just the English world on Youtube. I want people to be able to understand comments even if they don't speak English. If people are lazy in their spelling, a translation tool will not work and half the audience will not be able to participate in the discussion therefore, for commenting there is a rule for spelling, grammar and politeness so that EVERYONE can participate. If you don't want to, that's YOUR choice.

Here's a comment I got in an other video. food for thought. "regarding spelling and grammar. Hey folks think about it! Is it acceptable to play the wrong notes (spelling) - or play the chord progression out of order (grammar) and then expect your listener to "know what you meant"? Music is language (a universal one, actually). Shouldn't we be as careful in our spoken and written language as our musical language? I have this amp - it is beyond my needs and I will be selling it shortly."

To the guy who made the video, being a nazi about what people can and can't do in their comments, is really not cool. I'm sure you'll probably just delete this, but I think it's important that you know that your coming off very controlling. No one likes that. Not everyone is good at spelling, that does not mean that they don't have something good to say. And swearing as you called it, is just a descriptive word, for example: "this amp is fucking awesome, this will be next amp!". Thanks.

How much would this cost? I own a Line 6 Spider III 15 and a Squier BulletStrat. And I'm looking to upgrade everything. I'm getting a Gibson Les Paul and thinking of a Marshall amp. Is this good or is there better? And I'm looking to spend no more than $1500
