AMD is a low-cost solution with phenomenal performance, good HD videos experience and less comsumption. AMD's AM3 socket won't finished according AMD, Intel won't continue socket LGA775 and launched LGA1166 and LGA1366 sockets, but don't say if pretends to continue or not this sockets for longer. But Intel for workstation is the best platform and encodes, converts and creates videos more efficiently, but who said Phenom don't do that lied, I create and convert 2 videos well.
