@semajpsea no, Spinal Tap were fake, but were so good at being fake people think they are real, unlike the jonas brothers, who are real but are so bad everyone thinks theyre fake

The management getting taken over by the girlfriend was based on when Supertramp's manager Dave Margereson quit when Rick Davies' wife took over as management in 1983 mid-way through that tour (Roger Hodgson left the band in September and he (like Nigel not getting along with David's girlfriend) had issues with Rick's wife (as did Roger's ex-wife).
