I have a 1966 12-string Rickenbacker 330 which isn't hard to tune at all. Changing the strings takes about 15 minutes once you know how...

You forgot to mention the most important member in your description. Jimmy Page played Rickenbacker 12 string, and used it to record Stairway to Heaven.

"They did a beautiful job on the finish". Too bad there's a big ugly white pickguard covering most of it..I love Rickenbackers but I don't know what they were thinking when they designed this guitar.

@Davesintexas A 12 string Rickenbacker or Gretsch played through a Vox amp is the most common "jangle sound". The Beatles and The Byrds used Rics and The Monkees used a 12 string Gretsch, I think all of them used Vox amps. A compressor helps too. |
