@MrFreakybirthmark & @bobswagget: Just because it's not in the media doesn't mean it's not happening. I can't speak to what the stars have/haven't done, but the producers & director have provided considerable help to move these kids to a better future; google "Slumdog producers donate" to see how. It's the kids' dysfunctional families & social structure that continue to fail them in the long run. Next time, try thinking before you rant.

you guys should search "The Harrison House Trailer" on youtube. it's an indie film shot on an iphone for only 600 dollars. danny boyle and ar rahman were a huge influence in their work
