Beginners have to already know what the sine wave represents. It would be helpful to put little dots flowing through the wire and animate the current. This video just shows what an oscilloscope would show, not what is happening in the wire.

@bahstrike I agree with you. But I thought it could help beginners. If a picture is worth a thousand words, an animation is worth a hundred pictures!

L2 draw a correct sine wave. it should be angled at 45 degrees when it crosses the positive to negative line, not 90 as in the video.
