@Aerohype i get the feeling the citadel gloss varnish is very oiliophobic as it just forms globules on the top

I now use some of the Artisan water based oils, i did a test to paint on some gloss varnish afterwards and it wouldnt stick. what varnish do you use?

Great tutorials, would this work well for scything talons on Tyranids? im trying some at the moment and its somewhat successful but the darker parts seem washed out sometimes, any advice you would give there?

Do you use the Liquitex Slow-Dri Blending Fluid or the Slow Dri Fluid Retarder?

When I saw the video title in the Youtube recommendation box I first thought 'what in the world could this be?' Now I know that it´s awesome (paintjob).

Whilst still getting them to pop as easily as the oils.

Useful tip: if you use water based acrylics (GW, Reaper, Vallejo) you can airbrush them to achieve a blended effect.

The reason you are fighting with the white acrylics so much is because they use opaque pigments for white. If you can find a nice bright slate grey that is transparent it should work much better...

I don't understand, how anyone can dislike this... Probably jealous of the skills or something, superb tutorial.
