@walter0bz YES, you actually GET IT! So many people continue to act like there is NOTHING WRONG & that we can continue to consume at a growing pace every quarter! There is simply not enough resources! YES, we should have some type of restrictions on how many children folks should have or at least put a stop to nutty folks like the Duggars with their 19 kids! Oh well, I just wish we could punish the professional deniers before they die for the harm they have done!

@Viracocha711 - IMO, without oil earth can only support 0.5-2billion people, currently 7billion. this century will have famines, genocidal wars, pandemics on a scale never seen,5+billion are doomed. correct, having kids is a really bad idea now, unless there was a global one child policy to preemptively reduce population in a controlled manner.

@walter0bz EXACTLY! So many NUTS on the Right think it is the answer to our energy problems.When in reality it is the death nail for our climate!However, being realist even if the pipeline is never built the tar sands will kill the climate because now that they are being dug up there is no way to stop it until they are gone! SAD! My wife & I cannot have kids due to disabilities but we are almost sure now that is probably a good thing...It is not alarmist to say things R gonna get bad!

@walter0bz WRONG! The idea of "Peak Oil" has vanished now that Tar Sands have come on to the market...There is literally 10-100X the oil locked up in tar sands than there is regular oil. Global Warming will only get far worse due to this & is by far the most pressing issue of the day!

@Austinbit You understand it would be impossible for citizens to first of all find out if the company is dumping toxic waste and second of all the citizens would not be able to bring down these companies alone. You are honestly insane if you think it's a good idea to git rid of the EPA. Did you read my comment? All of this shit will become EXTREMELY BAD because they will have no punishment, seriously do you not see your flawed logic on this at all?

@C1Era No, but don't think that government involvement is needed. If we see companies dumping hazardous materials, STOP BUYING FROM THEM. Your dollar is your vote, and the government is telling you that you are too incompetent by creating the EPA.

@not8upwthit Yes, Scientists know that, but if you look at this supposed 'cycle' it is greater than any cycle we have ever recorded. The amount of carbon emissions has SKYROCKETED. This is NOT another cycle.
