I think 'Spencer Rocks' would be better off learning to spell, and going back to his text books rather than being insulting and rude to people on here. Calm days have no wind.. thats why they are calm!!!! hope this helps...

@spencer82rocks The only time the main engine is used on the shuttle is during lift-off to orbital injection. Other than that, it simply glides back to earth after reentry.

In the Australian airdromes it is accepted to graze a kangaroo and awfully bad runways, but IL-76 can fly up from dirt roads.
