Great bass line. This was one of the first singles I got into when I started listening to pop music in 1986. So much soft and beautful music from the Summer of'86.

@pickydeer to prick,the 80's were class,AIDS was scary but i think youll find the virus was unleashed before the 80's ,nuke arm race was a game of chicken ,which no one won,drug abuse didn't start in the 80's ,what about the 60's,70's,90's ,00's and its still on going,teen pregnancies all over europe are at a all time high,there was no internet because it wasn't invented,second rate video games at the time were state of the art (dork),think before you write prick

For you guys who did not live through the 80s and believe it was an utopia, you are only partially correct. 80's was great but it had problems also. AIDS was a scary rising epidemic, Nuke arm race with USSR, Drug use was at a peak, teen pregancies on a rise, no internet for the public, computers big and expensive, second rate video games, Cheesy tv shows like ALF, Its a Small Wonder, Fantasy Island, Love Boat, horrible songs- We Built this city on Rock and Roll-Starship, Heartbeat-Don Johnson.

This music really takes me back to that beautiful year when this song came out and life felt so hopeful and full of wonder. Every time I hear this song I feel like smiling as if I went through an old photo album, remembering my girlfriend from long ago or trying on my old leather jacket. Although The 80s are gone, I will remember that time;.. with love.
