@joeyvader Skynet wud carry out its job as a Global defense network, commanding all military hardware systems around the world, with machines building more machines. So u wud basically hav Terminators guarding Skynet and patrolling, basically protecting nothing, endlessly waiting for a threat which wud in essence no longer exist. Remember watching the T1000 guarding that building Sarah and John were in? All night the Terminator stood there, thats kinda wot they wud do forever.

@joeyvader Yes this is a Idea that many fans hav pondered. The intruiging thing about this Issue with the Terminators is, exactly what Arnies Terminator model says in the films, "I am a Machine." At the end of the day, no matter how smart, powerful the Terminators are, they r simply machines period. If the Terminators totally eradicated mankind, they wud do exactly wot they were originally created and programmed to do.

@ChrisCrisp101 Yes and thats wot so cool bout it, that they chose his very first original look, like as in the first T101 model from the first film. It makes pure sense looking at it in-terms of the story cus his model from the first film. They style them to kinda fit in with the exact time they r in, I luv this. I like wen classic things r blended in with our new era of today, I dont know y, but I do like it wen they do things like that. Same with Tron and Clue cgi, new Tron film

@RaikenXion the reason his hair looks 80ish, and the rest of his body is because they used stills of him from T1 to make the CGI version of him :)

My son and I were watching this movie the other day, when he brought up an interesting point...what will the terminators do when they have eradicated mankind? Will they all just hang out, talk around the water cooler and reminice about how many humnans they killed...go on vacations...??? Just what WILL they spend their time doing???

One thing I like bout how they did Arnie in this is his hair, its natural looking, like slightly 80s, just alittle, I find that classic! lol. Like wen u see Captain Antillies in Starwars Ep3 talking to Obi Wan, jis hair is classic styled lol. I always find this amazing dont know y, I guess its alittle of that old style bieng recreated in our new era, its strange, hard to explain. I guess Im trying to say sumthing like Nostalgia lol.

@James1239170 Yes this is wots so Intriguing about it. Skynet was essentially a military defense network, so yes its Cyberdine systems builds all manner of machines. But Its the actual A.I. Itself that wen it becomes self aware, takes control over everything. Skynet eventually evolves to point it doesnt need humans and takes the action of wiping them all out. If all humans were gone, "Skynet" wud simply keep building more machines and maintain itself forever, guarding nothing.
