Well he got a major point wrong, the '52 bridge pickup a majorly different than the Broadcaster pickup, different magnets, different gauge wire, very different tones, the '52 bridge is much brighter and edgier than the B'caster bridges were. Neck pickups were the same though....

It was so nice years ago when there was one Tele, one Strat..Not all the models to muddy everything up...All you had to do was play several untill you played one that spoke to you...The human element...While one person was bullshitting to another while winding pickups, they would forget how many windes they did and thats when the magic happened...Miss those days...

...The price of a Broadcaster back then was equally as expensive right now. It was still about 1400 dollars (inflation). DURRRRRRRRRRRRRR
