@BorisHorvatable People are dumb. High ratings don't mean high quality, and low ratings don't mean low quality. A stupid show like Jersey Shore gets high ratings, and a great show like Arrested Development got canceled due to low ratings. Lesson learned, ratings don't mean shit. Another example is fox news gets the highest ratings, yet produces the least informed audience.

@lsahn that's only half the story. Leno split Conan's audience with a 10 PM lead in. THen the network didn't give the new show enough time to find it's own audience. If Leno would have gracefully left, Conan's numbers would have been higher.
