all kinds of dance take work they are all hard and not everyone can do them but ballet is a different story for ballet u need cordination,strength, flexibily,time, but most of all passion if you dont love dont waste ur time ballet is for those who love it u dont have to be a professional if u do it now but make sure you love it thats the key to being a beautiful dancer

I love ballet. Watching videos like this inspires me to be a better ballet dancer and to challenge myself in dance.

@mikfsa Softball is a sport. Is it in the Olympics? No. Is figure skating a sport? It's just dancing on skates, so it can't be a sport from your point of view. Just because it's not in the Olympics doesn't mean it's not a sport. Dance is tough. It requires TONS of strength that you could never muster. Ballet is not easy, and it's not a sisy activity either. It IS a sport, and it requires more than you will ever be. Okay, I'm done.

@Pianoplayer2227 ur so right, this sport is so competitive that I've lost friendships. I seriously don't have a life outside of dance. people who say this isn't a sport don't know the pain that dancers face everyday

@Pianoplayer2227 It doesn't matter how hard one must train when determining whether it is a sport or not. "Sport" is defined by competition that is through a game. Yes, there is a lot of competition in dance, but dance is not defined through competition. I agree that dancers must be extremely fit-i am a dancer as well-but that still does not make dancing a sport at all.

@Letters411 You can't say any "sport" is more of a sport than another.. it's comparing apples and oranges. I can still state my opinion. And it's what I believe so.. I still like ballet. I just don't consider it a sport. It must require agility and strength but overall I just think it's an art. You don't see it in the olympics do you?

I would say that dance is the most beautiful sport,full or beauty,art and feelings. And what's most important it doesn't have violence,or ugly accidents or swearing etc ( that bullshit from football,hockey etc). I always wanted to go to a dance class,because i love to dance,but luck sometimes doesn't get the right person :(,and money so .
