I totally want to make one of these movies that starts out like a hipster mumblecore trustafarian whine fest. Then about halfway through Jason Vorhees shows up and murders them all in gory tom savini fashion.
Somebody with a good digital camrera hit me up and let's make this happen.

Films like these; original stories about real problems, portrayed in such a thoughtful and poignant way, they keep hollywood alive. They keep story alive. Check out the trailer to "The Lie" about a dejected father who fakes his daughter to death for sympathy. If that isn't originality in a state of cinema dominated by sequels, prequels and remakes, I don't know what is.
